Okechukwu Chukwulozie, a former Commissioner of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) yesterday began his journey to Kuje Prison in Abuja to serve  15 years  over N10.4 million fraud.

It was yesterday that Chief Chukwulozie began his journey to Kuje prison from ICPC detention cell as it was late yesterday to convey him to Kuje after securing his conviction papers.

Reverend Rowland Jide Macaulay used to run a secret gay church in Ojodu Berger Lagos called House of Rainbow Fellowship. He relocated abroad some years back after a major newspaper did a story on his homosexual church and he started to get threats. He's still running his gay church in the UK and has been speaking out publicly against the recently passed anti-gay law in Nigeria.

Rev. Jide Macaulay recently penned an emotional article about being rejected by his father (pictured above with him) when he came out as a homosexual in 1994 and his acceptance of his lifestyle many years later.

I am writing this article to share my story with people who want to reconcile sexuality, faith, and family. It is a sequel to “My Father, My Faith and My Sexuality: The Dialogue” (in Q-zine’s first issue). Readers of that article will understand how much I have looked forward to visiting Nigeria again after years of estrangement. That long-postponed visit finally took place in January 2011, after a three year absence. This is the experience I want to share with you now.

Some background first. I came out as gay in 1994 after a troubled heterosexual life. My coming out was a disaster of, you might say, Biblical proportions. I was hated and denounced on mainly religious grounds, called a sinner, a defiler, an abomination, etc.

Policeman sentenced to death by hanging for killing 20yr old man

Justice has finally come the way of the family of slain Emmanuel Victor (pictured above), a 20 year old young man who was killed in front of his mother by a trigger-happy Policeman, Mathew Egheghe, two years ago in Yenogoa, Bayelsa state.
Victor was shot dead after he confronted a group of policemen who were trying to extort money from motorists as he was coming back from church. Angered by his effrontery to question their action, Policeman Egheghe moved close to Victor and shot him at close range.

Wife Who Gave Husband Kidney To Save His Life Wants It Back After He Dumped Her!

41 years old loving wife Samantha who saved her husband's life by giving him one of her kidneys now wants it back after he dumped her.



Her husband Andy Lamb was dying of renal kidney failure and was only being kept alive by weekly sessions of dialysis until his wife Samantha persuaded him to take one of hers.

The 41-year-old mother-of-one told the Sunday People:

'He needed a new kidney or he would die. He was on dialysis three times a week. I told Andy he should go through with it. He had children from an earlier relationship and he wanted to be there for them.'

But Samantha says as soon as she went through with the operation she regretted it. She believed her
husband was cheating on her - first that he was having an affair with her friend Clare who she confronted and which Andy denies.

The couple tried to save their marriage and Samantha gave her husband one more chance but claims she later discovered he was having sex chats online with women.

The couple got married in 2007 but in 2012, Andy finally left his wife. Samantha said: 

'I would definitely go through the operation again - but I wouldn't give the kidney to him. I hate him. If I could, I'd take it back and give it to someone else.'

Andy however denies having an affair with Samantha's friend but admits walking out on her. He said:

At RUN,they pay half a million every year for school fees.... a fee that most church members cannot even afford and some of the students who are there,their parents struggle to make sure their kids get the best of the four years they spend their,students in other Universities are rendered redundant because of the ASUU issue blah blah... ..so RUN it is for the majority.

Info reaching me indicates that a female student amongst others is/are to be punished by being sent to rehab because she/they missed going to church on Sunday!


Rehab at RUN is a place where the offender will go for six months without attending classes and the full school fees will STILL be paid, after the offender is done, he/she will repeat the class and pay another fees. …Lobatan!

 Personally i feel this is a RIP OFF. but i asked a question " why did these student not attend church"?

Obasanjo sends letter to PDP withdrawing from party activities

All these drama with our politicians, leaders and political parties is becoming quite silly. They all just seem so confused. One of the founding members of the ruling party and former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo has sent a letter to the National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, where he gave a notice of his withdrawal from activities of the party.

In the letter, Obasanjo said although he is still a card carrying member of the party, he will withdraw his activities with PDP at local, state, zonal and national level until a person he describes as a criminal wanted abroad to face criminal charges is removed as the party's South West zonal leader.

EX-Nigerian Footballer Emeka Ezeugo Convert To Islam

46 years old retired Nigerian football defender and midfielder, also a current coach Emeka Ezeugo has announced that he's embraced Islam after being inspired by the life of Prophet Mohammad.

Emeka went to a Muslim cleric last week along with Mohammedan manager Amirul Islam, his former team-mate Kaiser Hamid, Zaker party leader Amir Faisal and club official Abu Hasan Prince to convert to Islam.

Man Shot And Killed By Police For Resisting Demolition Of Shops

A man was shot and killed Monday morning by the police at Adenta in Accra for wrestling with the police who were supervising the demolition of unauthorized structures there.

Three others, suspected to be land guards were arrested.

They were alleged to have lunged at the police with dangerous weapons in an attempt to stop the demolition exercise being carried out by a private developer at Aviation lands, Adentan in Accra.

The Commander of the Alfa Swat Unit of the Ghana Police Service, Supt T. K. Hlormenu, told Joy News' Francisca Kakra Forson, the police were left with no choice than to defend themselves.

According to him, the police opened fire, leaading to the death of one.
