The bird woman that allegedly fell from the sky at Oshodi last week is said to be dead.
Last Friday, 10th October, 2014, the whole of Oshodi, Lagos, was in a lock-down mode after it was alleged that a mysterious bird had crashed to the ground and metamorphosed into an old woman with most parts of her body seemingly burnt.

But reports emanating from the police has it that the middle aged woman has died even before useful information could be gotten out of her.
According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Kenneth Okonkwo, the woman died shortly after she was rescued by the police and taken to a station in order to ascertain her identity.
Eyewitnesses said there was a bird which fell down and turned into a woman. So, a large crowd gathered round her. She was not attacked. Eventually, when the police got there, they rescued the woman from the surging crowd. But unfortunately, she died, and her body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital’s morgue.
With her death, the mystery continues as no one can tell who she was or her mission apart from the eyewitnesses who claimed they saw a bird collide with an high tension wire and fell to the ground only to transform into a woman.
