TULSA, OK – Lyndsey Dawn Fiddler, 27, pleaded guilty to second-degree
manslaughter in the death of Maggie May Trammel, who was just ten days
old when her aunt discovered her inside a running washing machine (the
machine had nearly run its cycle).
Court records quote Trammel saying: “Baby was poopie stinky and I
didn’t have money for diapers so I washed it. Saved on diaper money.”
“It’s stories like this which have made our Quit Methin’ Around
campaign so vital,” prosecuting attorney Ryan Gastin said. “This is
what messin’ with meth can do: make you think it’s okay to wash your
baby in a washing machine.”
