Gay Group Protests Heterosexual Wedding
SAN FRANCISCO –
A recently formed San Francisco group called Gays Against Traditional Marriage
stood outside San Francisco City Hall this morning to protest a
heterosexual wedding going on inside. A solider, recently home from
active duty, was marrying his longtime high school sweetheart.
“It was so sad,” the groom’s mother said. “Jason went through hell in
Iraq and these hateful people pretty much ruined what should have been
the best day of his life. Why would they want to disrupt something as
beautiful as a wedding?”
Members of the group, who refused to identify themselves, said they have several reasons for the protest.
“Yes, we are giving heterosexuals a taste of their own medicine. They
can see what it feels like to be discriminated against based on sexual
orientation. But we have environmental concerns too. We want to stop
breeding by discouraging traditional marriage, which produces more
children who are a drain on planetary resources.”
Gays Against Traditional Marriage claims to have over twenty members and growing.
